Barcode on labels? (2000)

I am trying to make a page of address labels for a "regular" U.S. address. I would like to include the delivery point barcode, as I often do on envelopes--but the box is grayed out! Am I missing something, or is it simply not an option? (I'm using Word 2000 on Windows NT 4.0.) I've tried everything I can think of, and I've tried searching for previous posts here, but I haven't found anything related to this specific issue. Can anyone help? ("Anyone? Anyone?" Although I did see the movie I did not remember the line, sorry better luck next time...

I checked the same installation and mine works OK. I have the following References set:

1) VBA
2) Word 9.0 Object Library
3) OLE Automation
4) Normal.DOT
5) MS Office 9.0 Object Library

To check the References goto the Visual Basic Editor, Alt+F11 and under the Tools menu choose References.

This link explains it all for you:KB Article Q243229

In a nutshell -- if Word detects that the label is less than 3" wide, it will "gray out" the delivery point barcode option.

Select another label type which is wider. For example, Avery type 8460 does not allow the barcode, but Avery type 8462 does.

Thanks to those who replied. I wasn't aware of the "label size" issue.
