    Hyperlink Screen Tip

Can anyone tell me how to edit the tip that appears when you hover over a hyperlink. My example is having QA appear in my document and that is linked via a bookmark hyperlink directly to the Acronyms within the document. I would like the screen tip to be Quality Assurance rather than QA.

    Thanks

Thanks Leif. However I should have said I am using W97, which doesn't have that utility within the hyperlink screen.

The syntax for the tip in 2K is o "Tip Text" inserted into the field. Try it and let us know if it works.

    Re: Hyperlink Screen Tip

When you put this in the field code the screen tip updates to "C:0" and the hyperlink doesn't work anymore.

    Re: Hyperlink Screen Tip

So sorry. The only other way I can think of getting it into the code would possibly be through Insert / Field. Under Categories select Links and References. Under Fieldname, select Hyperlink. Then click Options. Whatever switches are listed there are your options.

    Good luck.

    Re: Hyperlink Screen Tip

Thanks for the steer. Unfortunately I only have four options none of which appear suitable.

However after some experiments I discovered that by underscoring Quality Assurance when making this the bookmark title, then hyperlinking on QA I got what I was looking for.
