    Suspicious program

Win.ini loads a program called ptsnoop.exe at startup. I don't know what it is, and using CTL-ALT-DEL End Task on it doesn't seem to affect anything else -- but the name bothers me.

Ptsnoop is in my Windows folder. It's creation/modification date is 3/9/1999, so I assume it didn't come on the ME disk. There are four other files with the same date: PCTPTT.EXE, PTDLL16.DLL, PTDLL32.DLL, & PTRTSYC.DLL. Can anyone tell me what these files are and why ptsnoop is being loaded?

Thanx -- that relieves my paranoia. Since Snoopy is doing no harm and might actually be needed, I'll just leave it alone.
