Form in Design view (Access 2000)

WEhere should i place the acView in the following Open Form command?
    DoCmd.OpenForm "frmCustomerOrders", , , , , , "OK"
I want to forbid the customer from opening the form in design view and at the same time
    preserve the above command namely

    DoCmd.OpenForm "frmCustomerOrders", , , , , , "OK"

I cannot find in which order can i insert the commands

I you want to completely prevent end-users from opening forms in Design view, you should either use Access security (i.e. take away the right to design objects from the standard user), or create a .mde database from your .mdb.

If you do a search on this forum, you will find information on how to secure a database.

If you just want to prevent them form accidentally switching to Design view, you can use the methods discussed in thread 129354. Also look at http://www.mvps.org/access/general/gen0005.htm

Using any of these methods, there is no need to modify the DoCmd.OpenForm instruction.

The syntax for OpenForm can be found in Help or in the object browser.
