Change of printsettings after new driver (97 SR2)

    Hello All,

A collegue of me has the following problem:
    * He has a big Excel sheet with 20 tabs, and all data on a tab is resized, so it will print on 100% exactly on 1 A4 page (per tab)
    * This sheet is send to a printshop to print booklets from it
    * After installing a new printer on his machine (the old printer was removed), all data on his tabs where to big and could not fit at 100% on 1 A4 page anymore.
    * Even after deleting the printerdriver and resoring the old situation, the Excelfiles where somehow changed.

Could anyone explane what is going on here and how to solve it?

    Greetings,

    Patrick Schouten

Did you check to see if the margins changed. The new printer may not be able to print on as much of the paper as the old one, and the margins may have been adjusted to match.

The best way to solve this problem is to go to Page Setup and on the Page Tab in The Scaling section select Fit to 1 pages wide by 1 pages tall.

    Hello Legarde,

    Thanks for the reply.

Yes we checked the margins, and nothing changed there.
We didn't open all his files, but also after deleting the printer driver and restoring the old one and opening other files the settings where changed.

    Very strange...

But we have set the page settings to 1 by 1 and sent a test example to the printshop to see if all will work out.

    Greetings,
