    change default browser (IE 6.0.26)

I'm trying to change my default browser from Netscape 6.0 to IE 6.0.26 on a W2000 Pro system. The help files for IE, Windows and Netscape have all been less than helpful, as has the MS Knowledge Base. (I know how to change options, but I can't figure out which option to change!) This is a basic procedure that I've done before, but I can't figure it out this time. Please refresh my aging memory! Thank you.

    With 5.5 it's Tools > Internet options > Programs
then select 'Internet Explorer should check...'
    Hopefully it is something similar.

Re: change default browser (IE 6.0.26)

Thanks for your help, Leif. I'm still not entirely sure what did it, but after I changed various settings in IE and in both versions of Netscape (4.08 and 6.0) that I have on my computer, IE now seems to have become the default browser. I hate to have given up on Netscape, but it just doesn't seem to like W2000 (work computer) or WXP (home computer) very much. I sure appreciate your willingness to lend a hand.
