    security using command line (A97)

    I have set up a secured database that is to be used amongst unsecured DB's.

    I can open the Access program using the command line

    Just include the database in the command line in your shortcut. i.e. make the target of the shortcut something analogous to

    "C:Program FilesMicrosoft OfficeOfficeMsaccess.exe" "M:MyDocsSecured DatabasesGeneric Queries.mde" /wrkgrp "M:MyDocsSecured DatabasesDataman.mdw"

    I tried using the path to the db but did not think to include the path to Access as well!
