    Copying cell comments (Excel 97)

    Does anyone know how to copy cell comments so that I can paste them into Word?

    Right click in the cell and select "Edit comment" from the pop-up menu. Drag the I-beam cursor to select the text you want to copy. Right click in the selected text and select Copy from the pop-up menu. Switch to Word and paste.

    In addition to Lagare's instructions, you can also find a macro to print all comments at Chip Pearson's excellent site.

    Apologies for the tardy reply. Pressure of work...

    Sorry I did not express myself correctly I wanted to copy the comments using VBA. Fortunately Peter Morgan pointed me in the right direction.
