    OLE/Webbrowser (VB Word 2000)

Has anybody used either OLE or Webbrowser to run Word?

I want to have Word running, with full functionality, as a container application within a VB form.

When I run it as an OLE object, I can have menu options, but no toolbars; there's also a problem when I switch to Word elsewhere and switch back ( I can no longer edit Word- a known problem).

When I run Webrowser opening up a Word object, I can see toolbars, but I have limited control over the application (It appears to be done be ExecWB, which is rather flaky).

Am I trying to do something which can't be done?

    Thanks

I'm not really sure what you are asking, but this came to mind: http://www.freevbcode.com/ShowCode.Asp?ID=1539

    Hope it helps.

    Kevin,

Thanks for that. I'll have to check it at home- I can't download at work (I've only just started over here-).

But your link does mention an OLE control, which I have trouble with- see Q202476 for one of the problems. Is that what is used in the example, or is it something different?

PS. This is weekend stuff- My new computer at home does not yet have VB installed.
