    Adobe type (Word 2000)

I have Adobe Type Manager 4.1. Whenever I try to use an ATM font, Word (actually all of the MS Office) freezes up. It shuts down and states that it has caused an error in the <unknown>. Does anyone have a possible fix?

Unless you need the Type Manager for something specific, uninstall it. TrueType fonts should be all you need for Word.

Do you have any other Adobe applications on your computer (Acrobat, FrameMaker, etc)? Also, when you say ATM font, you mean PostScript, right?
