    Transpose (Excel 2002)

Does anyone know how to apply the Transpose feature in Excel 2002 when I paste from the Clipboard pane? The standard procedure is to select the cells you want to switch, click Copy, and select the upper-left cell of the paste area. Then click the arrow to the right of Paste and click Transpose. I do not see a way to apply the Transpose feature when selecting data from the Clipboard pane. Thanks for your help!

I don't think that it will work from the office clipboard (it didn't in Excel 2000 either) to use ANY Paste Special feature, you have to have just copied the item.

I think you might have to paste it into Excel untransposed, then copy it again and to your paste. Sorry. I could not see another way in Excel 2000.
