Resizing Outside of Chart Only (97)

I have a pie chart that had the legend at the bottom. Because the legend was wide, the square around the chart is wide and has the pie chart as a tiny circle in the middle. I moved the legend to the right side where it takes up much less space. Now, I have a lot of white space around my pie chart. When I tried to reduce the square size, all the elements inside the square are reduced as well. Can I just resize the square alone so it is a closer fit around the pie chart elements?

Have you tried 'wrapping' the chart legend onto more than one line?
Right-click on the chart legend and then grab and drag the handles to resize the box.
Then you might try changing the size of the pie itself - right-click on it and drag the handles.

    Hi Ronny,

You can't resize chart itself without resizing proportionally all other elements of Chart. You should resize the plot area of the chart to fill the chart area. It is a rectangular area containing the pie, and not selectable easily.

I just wanted to make it clear if you are really in trouble.

    regards,
    Anu
