    Batch File (Win XP)

Can somebody please explain why my batch file does not copy everything in my Simon folder to the E: drive.

    I use the following line:

    xcopy "Cocuments and SettingsSimon*.*" "eocuments and SettingsSimon" /s /e /d /y /h /i /r /q /t

If possible can somebody please post the correct line.

    Thanks,

    Simon

    Re: Batch File (Win XP)

Add *.* to the end of the second half of the statement (just to be safe). Also, the /T switch forces XCOPY to NOT copy the files - just to create the directory structure. The /D switch is used for copying files and folders that are newer than the specified date, and in your statement there was no date specified.

    Try this line:
    xcopy "Cocuments and SettingsSimon*.*" "eocuments and SettingsSimon*.*" /s /e /y /h /i /r /q
    -Mark
