    Office Tool Bar (Office 2M)

How do I get rid of (hide) the Office Tool Bar on the right side of the screen? I got rid of it once but while fooling around I just got it back and can't remember how I got rid of it the first time. <img src=/S/brickwall.gif border=0 alt=brickwall width=25 height=15>

    Thanx, Russ

Do you want it gone or just moved? You can drag it around the desktop to move it. As I recall, right clicking it and opening the properties dialog will let you turn it off. I haven't used or even installed the darn thing since Windows for Workgroups, so my memory is a little hazy on that part.

    A. To remove the toolbar: right click on Office Toolbar (small icon of toolbar at far left). Select the menu labeled "Customize...". Then select the "Toolbars" tab. Deselect the check box for Office. Then click OK. That should remove the toolbar.
    B. To select options for viewing the toolbar, right click the shortcut bar, click on customize...and then choose the "View" tab.
C.To restore it once again, go to Start...Programs...Microsoft Office Tools...Microsoft Office Shortcut Bar
