Identifying Selected mail items (Outlook 2000)

Folks... I'm trying to figure out how to go through the mailitems in the Outlook InBox and process those that are selected by the user. Looking through the MailItem properties, the only thing that comes close is the FlagStatus property (values: Complete, Marked, NoFlag). Does the "Marked" value correspond to being selected? If not, how DOES one determine which item(s) in the collection the user has chosen?

thanks,

Hi,
I think you need the Explorer's Selection property - this returns a collection of all selected items. E.g.

Sub ListItems()
Dim expCurrent As Outlook.Explorer, itmMail As Outlook.MailItem
Set expCurrent = ActiveExplorer
For Each itmMail In expCurrent.Selection
MsgBox itmMail.Subject
Next itmMail
Set expCurrent = Nothing
End Sub

Hope that helps.
Regards,
