Outlook VBA learning source (O98, WinNT4)

Could someone point me to somewhere where I could learn the basics of VBA in Outlook? I can't even find the VBE so far!

This thread might be helpful: 45478

Microsoft provides a help file that might be useful. It was designed for Office 97, but I don't think that the object model for Outlook 98 is significantly different from that for Outlook 97: Q167223

Another KB article explains how to install Outlook VBA help: Q183220

VBA within Outlook can be used only when designing forms, I believe. Otherwise, it's used a lot from other applications (Word, Excel, VB6) to automate sending and processing e-mail etc.

I think VBA was added in Outlook 2000.

You can manipulate some of Outlook 98 using VBScript or another Office app. I found a crude representation of its object model here (see below). Another MS page suggests that in you open the VBE in Word/Excel/etc. and create a reference (Tools|References...) to the Outlook 98 object model so you can browse it with the Object Browser (F2).

What do you need to do, anyway? Maybe there's an alternative solution?

thanks for the suggestions, jefferson, unfortunately this has been put to the back burner for the moment - I'll be back to it as soon as I can get its priority back up!
