Re: Neat trick - change SEARCH colours

    Chris,

    I just tried the link in your post <A target="_blank" HREF="http://www.wopr.com/cgi-bin/w3t/showflat.pl?Cat=&Board=scut&Number=133555&page=0&v iew=collapsed&sb=5&o=0">
    133555</A>

It returned a page titled "Search results for query: <font color" which may not have been what you intended!

    Hmmm. Thanks for the feedback.

Odd. I just tried it (7pm Sunday Toronto time) and it worked. I'm pretty sure it worked at the posting time - I usually try my links during the Preview phase.

I wonder if it works with Netscapr but not with ...?

    Show off! (grin!)

OK. I cleared my memory & disk cache and tried again. Works for me.

    Not a big deal. Put it down to a discrepancy <font color=448800>somewhere</font color=448800> (!).

Re: Neat trick - change SEARCH colours

    When I use:

    <!t>[search]<!/t><!t>[green]<!/t>party<!t>[/green]<!/t><!t>[/search]<!/t>

I get this link in the preview post:

    http://www.wopr.com/cgi-bin/w3t/dosearch.p...t+color=448800>

Because the default match type is Or, this leads to useless search results. So... let's not do this.
