    Service Packs (Office XP pro)

With all the news about which service pack should and should not be installed, how do I check if I have any service packs installed and which version, if any, is on the PC. I seem to recall reading somewhere that there is a method to find this information. Any help appreciated.

Thanks, I've checked and no SP's listed. Can you confirm that I should download and install the SP-1 or is there any problems I should know about?

Personaly, I have installed it and suffered no known ill effects.

I suggest you read Woody's take on it here. There may be some clues there as to whether or not it may benefit your usage of Office.
