Re: Selecting Ranges (VBA, Excel97, etc.)

For instance, I import a text file into column B. The text file consumes 15 rows, having empty rows distributed arbitrarily from top to bottom. I want to apply a series of numbers used an recordID to each row within the textfile,
from top to bottom. From within the worksheet I would place a marker at the last row, go up to the first empty cell,
then <EDIT|INSERT|SERIES|STEP VALUE=1|STOP VALUE X|ok. X IS GREATER THAN THE LAST ROW NUMBER.
I will repeat this procedure with many textfiles, each file will most likely have a different number of rows from the last.
I hope I was able to do a proper explanation of my task.

Does this post relate to <!post=this thread,134078>this thread<!/post>? If so, you should have continued the discussion there. Starting in the middle just confuses the people who might otherwise answer your questions. On the assumption that this does, in fact, relate to your earlier question, I'm going to lock this thread and suggest that any replies be posted to the original thread.
