    advancing text (Word 2002)

Can anyone tell me the proper way (if there is a way) to have a paginated blank page (for insertion of a table, probably photocopied onto the blank page later) come after a page that breaks in the middle of a paragraph and mark it so when changes are made to the document, the text will flow and the blank page will follow the page referencing the table?

So...you want some text from, say, page 4 to flow to page 6, leaving page 5 blank? If you were to place a large obstruction on page 5 (such as a textbox or one-pixel transparent gif stretch to vast proportions) and have text flow around it, does that work??

There also are such things as "linked textboxes" but I have only heard whispers of them in dark corners of the Lounge and couldn't tell you how, or whether, to use them in this situation.

    Thanks, J.

You understood what I want. I was hoping there was some sort of magical advance feature (like in WordPerfect). Oh, well. Thanks again.

Linked textboxes are pretty easy to set up, but in a document where one wants pagination to flow the way one is used to in a Word document, textboxes aren't the way to go anyway.

On the other hand, if I were setting something up - like a newspaper page layout, where linked textboxes would be appropriate, I'd be using something other than Word to do it!
