Hover Delay (XP HOME)

Okay, so this is a petty little annoyance, but an annoyance nonetheless. Particularly when I mouseover an item in my Start Menu, which is used more than anything else, the amount of time that it takes for the related submenu to be displayed is now inexplicably long (2 to 3 seconds). These submenus used to "snap" open. I've tried decreasing the time using the "Hover" utility in TweakXP (the test in there works great), but it has no effect otherwise.

Any suggestions as to what is controlling/causing this long delay?

    Thanks,

This (I think) is the equivalent answer in W2K = Post 100983.

    Leif,

Yep, that cured the problem. The number that I found in there was 1700. No wonder things too so long. The strange thing is that TweakXP should have changed that Registry entry but didn't?? Anyway.... thanks. I'm happy again!
