Template for Pivot table detail (97)

When a pivot table is prepared, it is possible to double click on a number and it will be place into a new worksheet. Where does this worksheet come from? I have standard worksheets I use that are saved as a template. When I add a worksheet to a file it uses my saved template. I also have a standard workbook file that opens when I open a new file. The pivot table does not use either of my templates. What does it use?

    Thanks!

The 'drill-down' facility in Pivot Tables generates a worksheet to show the underlying records making up the total you double-clicked on. If you want to 'do your own thing' perhaps you could trap the double-click event.

When running the Pivot Table Wizard use the options button (see below)

To get to the Pivot Table Options.
You can disable the drilldown option if you wish.
