    Meaning what? What are you actually asking? Are you trying to build a phone dialer, access a modem or what?

    I want to screen pop an Access form using a programme called SWYX.
    The sales rep said it would work with any TAPI compliant programme such as Outlook. I have searched the Access 2000 help file, I can

    Outlook is a communications program. TAPI is a telephony API. Access isn't either one.

    MAPI is a mail API that Access and other programs can use to talk to mail programs like Outlook. What you're talking about is having a TAPI application talk to Access ... not the same thing at all.
