    dummy CDROM

I'm sure this question must have been asked (and answered) many times, but I can't find the answer, so here goes.

How can I fool any windows 98 prog into using a network or logical drive as a CDROM? Some progs seem to allow you to change the path any time, others only at the time of install, and some not at all. My laptop doesn't have a CDROM, so these last are a real pain.

    Any solutions?

    Thanks

You can buy Virtual CD. I find it very effective.
