    Import ? (97)

I did a search for this issue with MS Help and found no solutions....so I'm bringing it to the Pro's, which I should have done in the beginning.....

At any rate, let's say a db got corrupt. An easy fix would be to create a new db and just import all objects from the corrupt db. What I want to do is prevent that. In other words....I don't want any objects from my db to be imported by a forgein db. Can this be accomplished?

    Thanks for any help.

That can only be accomplish with User Level Security.
In Tools, Security you have a User Level Security Wizard that leads you to a secured database.
Before using it have a look at Frequently Asked Questions About Microsoft Access Security for Microsoft Access versions 2.0 through 2000
This article give you a very good idea of what's User Level Security and his implementation.
You could also do a search on the lounge about security, there are plenty of threads about it.

Just an FYI if anyone else runs across this issue.

All I had to do was password protect the db...if someone attempts to import objects from the db, he/she must supply the db with a password.

    Thanks for your help

    Your right. I didn't think about that way. <img src=/S/bingo.gif border=0 alt=bingo width=15 height=22>
But any way, why make things simple if they can be complicated <img src=/S/evilgrin.gif border=0 alt=evilgrin width=15 height=15>
