    IGNORE - I found it (Woody's Newsletter)

I swear that somewhere in a recent Woody's newsletter he talked about a command to add a predetermined paragraph of text to a document. I thought it was a clever leftover tool from days of yore and was going to use it to create a bit of text for a sample I was using - but I can't find the info on how to do it anymore!

Nevermind! I overcame my search block and found WOW 7.12. (sigh)
I searched my saved Woody's letters, but either that one mysteriously disappeared or I can't search for crap (although, it's hard to search for "word auto text" or anything like that with the newsletters because they *ALL* contain the search text!).

Anyway, if someone happens to know where I saw that, would they let me know?

    TIA,

do you mean =RAND(x,y) where x is the number of paragraphs and y is the number of sentences?
That will add the sentence "The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog."

    have fun

Watch out for "proprietary" use of English: AutoText is one word. Searching on that basis only produced abut 20 hits. HTH
