    Detailed view in Windows Explorer

    Hi,

I'd like to be able to browse at detailed level any folder I open on my machine - without having to make the changes each time! Its a real pain having to make the changes each time.

Am I being a real thicky here - or is it a feature?

    Thanks in advance.

    Andrew

Once you've modified the view to your tastes, click on Tools -- Folder Options in any explorer window. Then click on the View tab and you can apply your changes to all folders.

Is that what you were looking for?

Apologies Mark - just been real busy just now, and didn't notice this!

    Thanks all the same.

Re: Detailed view in Windows Explorer

Hey, you're welcome - and just so you don't ding yourself too much over it, I did the same thing this morning looking for my sunglasses. Couldn't find them, hunted all over, even turned the car around and went back to the house after I'd started up the road and looked.....and the whole time, they sat there in the glove box of the car laughing at me. And that isn't the first, nor the last time!!

    Glad to be of help!
