Kudos to Gary Frieder and Bill Rubidge (All)

Jack Lyon just mentioned our very own Loungers Gary and Bill in his Editorium Update newsletter: http://www.topica.com/lists/editorium/read...196&start=2

Good work, guys! Nice macro, too...

Thanks guys. Glad to be able to provide a plug for the Lounge in another publication. (and I was surprised to learn that there are actually people out there who want to turn 'Automatically Update' back on! <img src=/S/grin.gif border=0 alt=grin width=15 height=15>)

It was Bill who submitted that macro and, until Phil posted the link back to the original, I'd forgotten the specific thread it came from. Having gone back and taken a look, it looks like credit is due also to Dale Napier, as he really came up with the original code - here.

So thanks Dale, and sorry you weren't credited. It does point out the power of the Lounge though: people getting together and sharing ideas is a catalyst for improvement - the whole is greater than the sum of the parts.

    >>"Gary Frieder, a Microsoft Word MVP at Woody's Lounge"

I think Microsoft should knight all WMVPs similarly.

    Hi Kevin,

I agree with you, but haven't seen any pigs flying outside my window lately...

In this instance I identified myself as "a 'WMVP' at Woody's Lounge", which Jack translated into "a Microsoft Word MVP". So I guess I've been knighted by Jack but not by Bill!
