The Guy Hart-Davis book is, I think, from Sybex.
And last I looked, the publication date for Word Object Model continues to recede off into the indefinite future...

Anyway, time to cut Howard some slack - there is some good info at his site, particularly useful for newbies, er, I mean strangers.

    Re: Word VBA books

Word Object Model has yet to be published. Itls well over a year late from its first scheduled publication.

At this time, I'm not listing any books that I do not personally have, and I state that at the web page.

There are other books I have that I should list, but I've not had time to do so.

    Re: Word VBA books

Pardon that one, there's a whole batch of good VB and/or VBA books from Sybex. I highly recommend going to http://www.developershandbook.com/ to get the latest errata and other Good stuff from the authors of the world famous Access Developer's Handbook from Sybex.

And just in case, don't be confused between the Access Developer's Handbook from Microsoft and the one from Sybex. The one from Sybex wins, no contest.

    Re: Word VBA books

Pursuant to this topic, can anyone recommend good sources for obtaining out-of-print computer books besides ebay or amazon?

I've been looking for a copy of "Microsoft Word 97 Developer's Handbook" from Microsoft Press, written by Catapult, Inc., which incredibly MS Press decided to take out-of-print.

    Thanks for any suggestions/responses.

Border. They even list the addresses and phone numbers of people that have them.
