    Formatting Comments (97)

I know how to use VBA to add comments to cells and how to change the text of them, but I have never been able to determine how to change the format of their text via VBA.

    It can be done ...
    (1) manually by selecting and then using the format toolbar, and
    (2) programatically as evidenced in the default authorname in boldtext when you use the insert comment menu command.

Anyone know the answer to this one?

    Hi Bryan,
    Try looking at:
    Comment.Shape.TextFrame.Characters.Font
and you should be able to set pretty much everything that way.
    Hope that helps.
