    Rename My Computer (WinXP)

Back in Windows NT and 2000 it was possible to change the My Computer name (displayed on the desktop or in menus) to something else, such as the actual computer name, location, and/or operating system of the computer. We did this automatically for our users through a registry file, sometimes using a system variable. This no longer seems to work in XP. Does anyone know of a way to do this as part of an unattended install?

Long ago, there was a time when men cursed and beat on the ground with sticks. It was called witchcraft.
    Today it is called golf!
