    Global Number Format (XL97; SR2)

I have one install of XL that has sometype of global number format set as a default. If you enter in 123 and hit enter the cell contents is 1.23 However if you enter 123. the cell contents is 123

Does anyone have any suggestions as to why this is happening? If so, do you know how to return the so called global number format back to some kind of default?

    Thanks,
    John

See if Tools, Options, Edit, Fixed Decimal is checked and set to 2 places.
