    Wierd Header Gap... (2002)

    Hi,

In a long Word Doc, some of the pages have a large space at the top.
    Can't seem to delete it!

    Margins etc. are all ok.
How can I get rid of it?!

    Thanks,

    m.q.

    This sounds like paragraph formatting.

With the cursor in the heading right click and select paragraph...
Check the value for spacing before.

And if Tony's suggestion doesn't turn up anything suspicious, look for:
    1. File/Page Setup... /Layout tab/Vertical alignment & make sure that "top" is selected.
    2. Also check the margin tab for the size of the header.
