Format message boxes (Access 2000 SR -1)

In Access 97, using the @ symbol between text lines in a message box produced a nice format that I use a lot. Now I'm converting my applications to Access 2000 and I'm having a little trouble. I've finally figured out how to use carriage return characters to separate text lines, but for the life of me can't figure out how to make the first one bold. Or any other formatting, for that matter. Help?

    Thanks,

p.s. I'm new to the boards, go easy on me please.
