    Format (97)

    As always, I'm stumped!

    OK..here goes....my form is continuous. There are several associates. I am counting the number of calls each associate makes per day. So far... So good. On my form, next to each associate initials is a field with their respective daily count. Next to that field is a chkbox (chkCAC). If the associate makes his/her daily quota (58) then I want chkCAC to be visible and "yes". So far.....So good.

    The code I'm using is below. My problem is if the first associate meets the criteria, then chkCAC is visible and yes for all. That's not what I want....ONLY if the associate meets the criteria do I want chkCAC to be visible and yes.

    Could someone please help me?

    If Me.CountOfAssociateCallDate > 57 Then
    Me.chkCAC.Visible = True
    Me.chkCAC = 1
    Else
    Me.chkCAC.Visible = False

    Thanks,

    Re: Format (97)

    Why don't you consider creating a separate form for each associate? After you design your form, simply save copies for each associate and revise as necessary to 'personalize'.

    Re: Format (97)

    Thanks for the suggestion, however, I don't think this would work.....I left an important piece of information out .....

    JD 53 5/1/02
    JD 58 yes 5/2/02
    JD 35 5/3/02
    ************************************************
    FG 60 yes 5/1/02
    FG 71 yes 5/2/02
    FG 64 yes 5/3/02
    *************************************************

    This is the way I would like for it to appear....however, If JD's first date (5/1/02) is NO then the rest are NO...and that isn't true. The same applies for FG....he met the criteria each day...so his chkCAC is TRUE and therefore appears for each day.....if he had had one day that didn't meet the criteria, then that day, chkCAC wouldn't appear..

    Hope that is more clear.

    Again, thanks for the suggestion.

    Re: Format (97)

    You can't make a control visible/invisible for different records in a continuous form. What you are trying to do is to make a form look like a report.

    The formatting of a control (number format, visible, enabled, ...) is the same for each record in a continuous form.

    The value of a control can be different for each record if the control source of the control depends on the record source of the form.

    What you can do is the following:

    Remove the code setting chkCAC.

    Set the control source of chkCAC to
    =(CountOfAssociateCallDate > 57)

    This way, chkCAC will be checked if the count for the associate and date in that record is greater than 57. It will be visible in ALL records, however.
