    Need to analyze data

I have a list of about 1500 names and addresses. What I would like to do is get an idea of the geographic distribution of these people. I have zip codes and would think that a good way to do this would be to sort by zip and use broad zip code maps to get and idea of the concentration users. I saw on the Microsoft web site that they have a program available to do this. However, it costs $300. I don't need anything fancy and can not afford to spend that much on something I may use only once. Any ideas on alternatives? Is there a shareware program which might do this in a simple way?

    Any help appreciated.

Larry, you might try Access or Outlook. Also, check the Software Finds and Wants board. There really isn't anything idigenous to Windows that will do the job.

    Larry,
Check here for a free trial version (30 days) of a Bulk-Mail program that might have the capabilities you're looking for.
