is there a way to totally inhibit page breaks in an established access report . It has a couple of group headers and footers

What exactly are you trying to do? Are the page breaks happening because the data won't fit on a page or for some other reason? It's pretty hard to give an answer when the question is so vague.

This is an existing Access report not written by me , it is paginated (somehow) listing details with a page break occuring at the end of each account group. We want the report to just print continuously with no page breaks . Trying to avoid creating a new report if possible .

Open the report in design view.
Click on the somewhere in the Group Footer (not on a control).
    Make the property window visible.
In the Tab Format set the Force New Page to None.
    Save the report.

Thanks Francois, but we had already tried that. I work with Mike Holland.

This turned out to be a rather mystifying problem.

In the end all I did was to create a blank report and copy all the controls from the "peculiar" report and "voila", it worked.
