    VBA books (office 97)

    HI
Can anyone recommend any good VBA books - more for intermediate/advanced levels.
In my previous company - we had this office vba book with all functions in it - it was an excellent book & I cant remember the name of it - Diana

See the list of Word VBA books at my web site.
I'd suggest Steve Roman's Writing Word Macros.

    Diana,

Have a look at the link I just provided you in the thread about PowerPoint templates - that is a link to the online version of Office 2000 Visual Basic Progammers Guide - don't know if this is in print anymore but worth looking for (Microsoft Press, authors are David Shank, Mark Roberts and Tamra Myers).

It's an excellent intermediate/advanced book about Office 2000 VBA. If you can't locate a hard copy, at least it is available for free on the MSDN library site.

My favorite VBA reference is "VB/VBA in a Nutshell", by Paul Lomax, O'Reilly Press - which is not a book explicitly about Office VBA, but rather is about the built in functions and language elements of the VB language (aka "VBA", your choice).

    Re: VBA books (office 97)

I mention those in the Word VBA book list.

In effect, the ONLY advanced stuff available is:

    1. The VBA books by Ken Getz.
    2. The Office 2000 PG.
    3. The Office XP Developer's Guide.
    4. Actual VB, not VBA, books.

And when you talk about VBA, you need to specify the app.
