Office XP (initial release)

Has anyone any comments about the effectiveness of the new speech recognition engine for Office XP, particularly compared to NaturallySpeaking (for both dictation and Office and Windows commands)? Also any rumours about availability of the UK English version?

Its not worth having to install anything that includes the registration/activation wizard.

Now Now, Legare, you just may be wrong. The activation is working just fine and there does not seem to be any problems. Just those illegal copies are having problems, some are being SOLD as legal copies, to those that do not know any better.

Now running HP Pavilion a6528p, with Win7 64 Bit OS.

if you have a fast processor and lots of ram, plus a decent headhone/mic, it's ok. i never used NS, but i understand from others who used both that NS is better.

i have no idea on a UK version...

How could there be illegal copies???? Isn't the registration/activation wizard supposed to prevent that??? Obviously it is not working at all, just causing problems for the legitimate users!
