    Animating Graph Elements (PowerPoint XP)

I imported a graph from Excel XP into an XP presentation.

A long time ago, with Office 97, I was able to do this then animate each graph element (graph data lines) by a mouse click. It was great, I could talk on each graph element, click a mouse, and have the next one paint from left to right.

Now I have XP and it is asking me to select the graph object and select the type of animation I want. Problem is I can't select the graph lines, the only thing I can select is the chart object itself.

What am I doing wrong in this XP version?

Re: Animating Graph Elements (PowerPoint XP)

I've since figured out part of the problem. Since it was an imported graph I had to convert it (I'm not sure what the difference was). Once I did that I had access to animate the graph lines. My problem now is that everything is grouped. I can ungroup the objects, but then to get one graph line to animate to wipe in from left to right, I have to Shift Click on each element point in the graph line. That would take me all day.

Is there a way to select the entire graph line all at once?
