    Combine Three Text Columns (97)

I am on a roll today!!

Here is the situation. I have three columns (text), what I need to do is combine them.
I did the text formula (Example: =A1&A2&A3) and it does combine this info, but with
no space where there should be spaces.

I did a search on this forum and found nothing.

Thanks in advance, and sorry to be clogging the message boards with all my questions.

    Try

    =A1&" "&A2&" "&A3

Re: Combine Three Text Columns (97)

Here is what I did: =O5&" "&P5&" "&Q5 (I copies this from my formula bar, and pasted
    it here).

What happens is I only get column Q5.

    What am I doing wrong??

Nothing wrong with the formula if all three referenced cells contain text. Can you attach a sample WB to your post?

You are doing nothing wrong - there must be some other issue involved. Are you sure that O5 and P5 have some content ?

Is it possible that cell with the result is too narrow (and right aligned) to display the full contents ?

If you cannot get it to work could you upload the relevant sheet (remove or replace any sensitive data) so that we can take a look.

You were right!!! my column was not big enough.

I can't believe that I did not think of that. I feel like the people who usually call
me and ask me computer questions, and when they hang up I say HELLO!!

My excuse it that it is Monday and very rainy here in New England.

Thanks Again!! You have all been a big help!!

You could also use the concatenate function.
