Was wondering if someone could point me to a site(s) that would let me know all about flashing my bios, how to do it, what the pros and cons are, whether I should do it, etc. Thanks!</font color=448800></font face=comic>

There are different methods of upgrading the Bios. Each mother board may do someting different.
So you need to know the maker and model number of your board and what Bios is on the mother board. Go to the web page of the board and find the "How to Flash Bios" and see what the instructions are.
I have used the feeling that if it is not broke do not fix it. That said, I have not needed to upgrade any of may machines with a newer bios execpt for my laptop, when Sony can out with ALL of the tools for running Windows XP on a some what older machine.
Some new hardware may require to upgrade the Bios, but if it is NOT required I do NOT do it.
Now running HP Pavilion a6528p, with Win7 64 Bit OS.
