    All caps? (2000 SR1)

    How can I change all entries in a table to CAPS? Is this possible? I had imported things from Excel and need to make the all caps.- thanks

    Use an update query. Something like this:
    Field : Field1
    Table : Table1
    Update to : Ucase([Field1])
    Run the query.
    Make a backup of your database before you try this as it can't be undo.

    If you have text entered in a field eg "the quick brown fox" is there a way to capitilise only the first letter?
    Using a similar command in an update query?

    If you want the first letter of all the words of the string capitalised use the function :
    Expr1: StrConv([Field],3)

    If you want only the first letter of the first word capitalised use the function :
    Expr2: Format(Left([Field];1);">") & Format(Mid([Field];2);"<")

    In an update query, remove Expr1: and Expr2:
