Office 2000 installed to XP Home (Office 2000 Professional SR1)

Every time I go to load one of my apps, the goes about installing itself with the Please wait while Windows Confgures MS Office Professional dialog, then puts up an error dialog
Error 1919. Error configuring ODBC data source...going on to list some common dbase apps. I can tell it to ignore these then it does the whole thing again then the app runs, OR, I can cancel the install and again the app runs.

I have installed my own Office 2000 over MS Works 2000 that came with the machine.

Any ideas?

This is what MS has, but it is about Office 97. This may open up a thought or two. It also talks about using a Office XP cd.
