    set default file folder view

How do I set my default file folder view in Windows Explorer... I want it to be "Details" all of the time! Somehow my system was switched, and I don't know how to change it... <img src=/S/hairout.gif border=0 alt=hairout width=31 height=23>

    Thanks in advance,
    gg

Re: set default file folder view

Select the view you want in Explorer. Then, open Tools -- Folder Options from any Explorer window (it's also in the Control Panel). Once you're there, click on the View tab and select Like Current Folder. Since Explorer maintains separate settings for single and dual-pane views, you will need to do it once for each type (for example,My Computer opens to a single pane view).
