FTP: XP To Win2K (Win XP Pro)

My web hosting service has just moved my domain from a Unix server to Windows 2000 and now I can't get my Win XP Pro to FTP in so I can upload files to my "new" web site! I'm sure it's some setting in my XP Pro because I can go to my old Win98 machine and FTP connect to the new server just fine.

Does anyone have any idea where to look in XP Pro for whatever might be preventing it from connecting via FTP to a Windows 2000 host?

Are you running a firewall. I found that I couldn't FTP in WinXP Pro unless I turned the Internet security setting in ZoneAlarm from high to medium. Then FTP works just fine. I don't know if ZoneAlarm is supposed to do that, but it does it on my machine.

No, I don't have a firewall per se. However, the @#$%& web host evidently figured out what THEY were doing wrong and I've since been able to get connected.

    Thanx!
