    blocking a domain (Outlook 2000)

I would like to know if I can set up Outlook so that no one from hotmail.com (or from any particular domain) can send me any email msg.

    thanks

Only if using outlook in corporate mode or outlook 2002. See help > about for your mode.

BTW, you wouldn't be blocking the domain, but deleting all mail from that domain.

OK, if I am using Outlook 2002, how would I be able to set it up so that it will automatically delete all incoming messages from hotmail.com?

    Thanks

use rules wizard (tools menu) and create a rule to check mail as it arrives. in the from people or groups address picker dialog, type @hotmail.com in the right side. You'll get a message that the address can't be resolved, cancel that dialog and finish the rule.

I notice that when I get into Outlook 2002, it asks me for the LDPD directory. What exactly is that?
What am I supposed to type in?

    Thanks

Apparently you can delete all emails from yahoo or hotmail (or from any domain) automatically in Outlook Express as well. Just setup a mail rule for the "Where the From line contains ...." and specify to delete msg from server.
