Backing up essential OE data (OE 5 / Win98 SE)
I want to back up my OE address book [without exporting it as .wab] and saved messages onto my tape drive. What folder does OE save these in and under what file extension?
Are there any other essential OE files I should save [e.g. user data or system configuration files] that can't be replicated in the event of a system crash or corrupted disk?
Found the answer here: http://www.tomsterdam.com/insideOE/backup/bu_full.htm

Re: Backing up essential OE data (OE 5 / Win98 SE)
Find the folder that your email and address book is stored in, and copy all files to a floppy or other device. When I was using OE, this is ALL I ever did, no exporting and importing. I even moved these files to other machines with newer versions of OS and OE, and they all worked.
Now running HP Pavilion a6528p, with Win7 64 Bit OS.
