    Changing the color of a hyperlink

    How do I change the color of a hyperlink using HTML.
    <td width="125" rowspan="5" bgcolor="black">Example</td>
    The background of this cell is black and I want the hyperlink to be white. Thanks.

    Add the link colors to your body tag:
    <body link="#ffffff" vlink="#ffffff">

    And if you want to change the color of an active link (where the mouse is hovering), add alink="ffffff" <img src=/S/smile.gif border=0 alt=smile width=15 height=15>

    I learned the basics from the site www.htmlgoodies.com.
    The HTML Primers is a great basic overview to get anyone started. Joe Burns did a great job in putting together a site that is more or less "learn at your own pace". I still refer to the site a lot to look up quick things here and there.
