If these are RTM or HTML files, then the sender has control of the type size.

Re: Email print size (OE 5)

I receive emails in a number of type sizes and have ,prior to problem, always been able to print in 12 pt. The incoming emails show up on my screen ok but when I porint the size is reduced to 6pt. It doesn't seem that the senders type size is affecting my print size?

Check you settings under "View, text size"
    What do you have there?

Ok, the playing with the different sizes may have given it a swift kick in the <img src=/w3timages/censored.gif alt=censored border=0> and woke it up.

    Try this:

Open Internet Explorer and change the View/Text Size from largest to smallest and see if that doesn't change the print size in Outlook Express. It does for me.

Steve-I tried this but no change in printer type size BUT-as suddenly as the change from 12 to 6 pt happened a sudden reversal happened and now I am back to the 12pt printing. Why? Only the spirit of the PC knows but I appreciate the responses-

Ive had that happen too. Text looks fine on the screen sometimes, but prints tiny. Sometimes its small on the screen and small on paper too. Ive tried several things to fix it and nothing helped.

Re: Email print size (OE 5)

To save paper, unwanted email headers etc, Im in the habit of blocking the text of an email (or several from the same person) copying to a Word Page, then printing, this way the text is the size I want and I have several messages from the same person in 1 place. Relating to printing emails in full, Ive had no problems re: size, they print what is on the screen.
